1.Japan is the world's frequent earthquake-prone country.


Earthquakes can range from minor tremors that are observable to ground-shakers that cause massive destruction. But it's an inevitable part of life for those who live in countries such as China, Indonesia, Iran, and Turkey, which are some of the most earthquake-prone places on the planet. However, according to the U.S. Geological Survey, Japan records the frequent earthquakes in the world.

2.There are around 3.8-4.0 thousands trillion bacteria on Earth.



About 1.5 million species have been formally described in the scientific literature, most of them insects. Relatively, bacteria comprise less than 1% of all described species.
And that's nice to know, considering there are around 4 quadrillion quadrillion individual bacteria on our planet, according to NPR.

3.The coldest temperature till now recorded on earth is -89.2 degrees Celsius.


About -128.5 degrees Fahrenheit at Vostok, Antarctica on July 21, 1983. That all-time low temp. broke the previous world-record minimum of -88.3 °C (-126.9 °F), set on August 24, 1960, also at Vostok.

4.The whole  population of world could fit inside Los Angeles.


The world's total population is more than 7.8 billion by june 2020. Of course, that number sounds big. However, it would  feel a little more manageable once you learn that if every single one of those people stood side by side, they could all fit within the 500-600 square miles of Los Angeles, according to National Geographic.

5.Cuba & North Korea are the only places you can't buy Coca-Cola.


After all, this fizzy drink is sold practically everywhere, it still hasn't officially made its way to North Korea or Cuba, according to the BBC.
Coca-Cola opened one of its first bottling plants in Cuba in 1906, but closed  production in 1962 because of a trade issues, not long after Fidel Castro took over the country.
